A soft, dreamlike take on the slasher genre, Violent follows a quiet student named Violet as she explores her feelings for a classmate. But as local disappearances begin to spike, those close to Violet start to ask questions.
Full orchestral compositions inspired by Prokofiev’s Dance of the Knights, featuring bold, motivic writing and an over-the-top dramatic flair. The music blends classical horror traditions with exaggerated, theatrical textures to heighten the film’s tension and surreal atmosphere.
